The Social History Curators Group was formed to improve the status and provision of social history in museums and the standards of collections, research, display and interpretation.

The SHCG website has been archived as part of the British Library’s web archiving programme, and as such will be made available for researchers in the future. Should any contributor to the website or author of SHCG resources (eg. previous Journal articles, etc.) prefer that their work is not included in this programme, please contact the SHCG Web Editor.
